Job summary

Paladin Airport Security Services Ltd. (PASS) is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers to uphold passenger safety and deliver a positive travel experience.

You will screen passengers and baggage, explain procedures professionally, and operate screening equipment as required. The ideal candidate is 18+, has a high school diploma or GED, can obtain Transport Security Clearance, and is fluent in English (French is a plus).

Qualifications

• You are 18 or older.
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• You are a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
• You are able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a no unpardoned criminal record.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written); French is an asset.
• Able to comply with CATSA medical requirements.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Able to work variable shifts including early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 10 kg and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Screen passengers and baggage at airport security checkpoints.
• Provide information professionally and with integrity.
• Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening technology.
• Protect restricted areas and uphold regulations with vigilance.
