Job summary

Paladin Airport Security Services is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers to maintain passenger safety and deliver courteous service at K'il Kun Xidgwangs Daanaay Airport (YZP) near Sandspit. You will combine strong customer care with security screening to support a smooth travel experience.

Successful candidates will train, perform baggage and passenger screening with X-ray and detectors, manage conflicts, and protect restricted areas while adhering to CATSA standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one (1) year.
• Open availability to work any shift as required by airport operations, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset.
• Ability to comply with CATSA medical requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Only candidates currently living in a close proximity to Sandspit will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently screening passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints
• Scanning and testing baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines, metal detectors and other technology, along with physical search techniques
• Providing information professionally and with integrity
