First Meridian Services is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations in an airport setting. The role emphasizes quick, clean dish handling, safety compliance, and teamwork to ensure smooth service during peak periods.

Starting pay is $20 per hour with health and other benefits after eligibility. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays within a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area and equipment.
• Ensure all dishes and utensils are stored appropriately and ready for use.
• Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment and appliances as needed.
• Dispose of trash and recycling according to restaurant guidelines.
• Follow health and safety standards and regulations, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Support kitchen staff by assisting with food preparation and other tasks as needed.
• Work efficiently to keep up with the flow of dishes during peak times.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude with coworkers and supervisors.
• Report any maintenance or cleaning issues to management promptly.
