Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Airports team in Toronto, applying data-driven thinking to grow the airport marketplace and improve rider and driver experiences.

You will work with engineers, PMs, and designers to design experiments, analyze large datasets, and propose product enhancements that scale our airports strategy. Strong SQL and Python skills, plus cross-functional collaboration, are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in data science or analytics.
• End-to-end data work: querying, analysis, visualization.
• Experience with experimentation and user/time splits.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement decision frameworks and measurement strategies.
• Design and analyze experiments with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze signals to identify patterns and opportunities for growth.
• Understand Airports business dynamics to propose Lyft-wide enhancements.
• Present findings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Establish product and business health metrics.
