Job summary

Porter Airlines is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Montréal operation. You will support passengers through check-in, seating, gate announcements, and baggage handling in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

We require at least 2 years in customer service, strong English and French communication, and the ability to multitask. This is a part-time role with on-site duties at Montréal, offering travel perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Permanent Canada work eligibility.
• Must be computer savvy and have working knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets and Calendar.
• Knowledge of baggage services handling procedures preferable.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
• Detail oriented and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service to passengers and colleagues.
• Check-in passengers at counters: assign seats, guide to gates, verify documents.
• Perform pre-flight check-in tasks: boarding passes, seat assignments, gate announcements.
• Monitor carry-on luggage and aircraft doors.
• Assist passengers with disabilities, mobility equipment and wheelchair needs.
• Assist arriving passengers and manage International Arrivals baggage duties.
• Communicate with passengers via phone and email; update records and PNRs.
• Reconcile service invoices and support post-incident tracing or recovery of mishandled baggage.
