Job summary

Avanciers Incorporated is seeking an Airport Applications Specialist for the Toronto area. This onsite contract role supports airport operational applications and integrations, handling incidents, changes, and escalations to ensure continuous operations.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years in airport domain roles, with hands-on experience across RMS, FIDS, AVDGS, CAD, IOCC, SCADA and related systems. Onsite Toronto location with a competitive hourly rate awaits.

Qualifications

• Airport domain experience is mandatory.
• Experience supporting airport operational applications is required.
• Must be proficient in incident, problem and change management processes.
• Familiarity with L2/L3 application support.
• Hands-on experience with one or more systems listed (RMS, FIDS, AVDGS, CAD, IOCC, SCADA, CDF).

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for airport operational applications and integrations.
• Manage incidents, service requests, RCA activities, problem management and escalations.
• Coordinate with airport stakeholders, vendors, infrastructure, network, security and project teams.
• Support IOCC, CAD, CDF, SCADA, RMS, ACDM, FIDS, AVDGS and baggage systems.
• Execute failovers, DR exercises, maintenance, upgrades, patches and readiness activities.
