Sky Café in Halifax is seeking a full-time Commissary Transport Driver to operate company trucks, ensuring timely delivery of meals and catering supplies to the commissary, partner kitchens, and airport facilities.

You will perform inspections, load/unload shipments, and coordinate with dispatch and airport staff to meet flight schedules while upholding safety and food-handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong truck driving skills and safe operation of commercial vehicles.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain security pass.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with dispatch and airport teams.
• On-site at Halifax International Airport with flexible hours.
• Willingness to complete training and meet background checks.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate company trucks to transport food, beverages, and catering supplies between the commissary, local partner kitchens, and airport facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Load and unload products, verify delivery documents, and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate routes with dispatch, kitchen staff, and airport personnel to meet airline schedules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report equipment concerns to ensure reliable service.
