Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense company in British Columbia is looking for an experienced Aircraft Structure Technician to perform structural repairs and maintenance on aircraft. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in aviation maintenance, a relevant Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license, and thorough knowledge of aircraft structures and inspection techniques. This role includes responsibilities such as conducting inspections, providing training to employees, and working with specialized tools. All necessary equipment and benefits start from the first day of employment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Graduate of recognized aircraft structural repair course or apprenticeship program.
  • Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Secret Level II Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform First, Second and Third Level repairs on aircraft structures.
  • Conduct structural inspections and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide on-job training to other employees.

Skills

Driving and towing vehicles

Education
