Job summary

AAA-Canada is looking for skilled aircraft structures technicians to join our team in Mirabel, Quebec. This role involves inspecting, repairing, and modifying aircraft components while ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect aircraft structural components for damage or corrosion.
  • Repair or replace damaged parts according to standards.
  • Perform welding, riveting, and assembly work.
  • Install new structural parts to meet specifications.
  • Modify aircraft to new configurations.
  • Analyze maintenance manuals and procedures.
  • Follow engineers' and supervisors' instructions.
  • Record maintenance operations in logs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Work closely with engineers and production staff.
  • Report any safety or performance issues.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect aircraft structural components (fuselage, wings, empennage, landing gear) to detect any damage, wear or corrosion.
  • Repair or replace damaged or worn parts according to standards and technical drawings.
  • Perform welding, riveting, bonding or assembly work in accordance with specifications.
  • Install new structural parts or systems to meet specific needs or modernization programs.
  • Modify aircraft to new configurations or customer requirements.
  • Analyze maintenance manuals, technical drawings and maintenance procedures.
  • Strictly follow engineers' and supervisors' instructions.
  • Record all maintenance and repair operations in the appropriate logs.
  • Ensure that all interventions comply with safety standards and aviation regulations (e.g., Transport Canada, FAA, EASA).
  • Work closely with engineers, other technicians and production staff.
  • Report any anomaly or major issue affecting aircraft safety or performance.
Skills and qualifications
  • Recognized diploma in aircraft maintenance or aircraft structures, recognized by Transport Canada or another accredited course.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Rigor, attention to detail, dexterity and autonomy.
  • Good ability to work in a team in a constantly changing environment.
  • Able to communicate orally and in writing in French or English.
