Job summary

Alpine Aerotech is seeking a Structures Technician to fabricate, repair, modify, and restore aircraft structural components across a diverse helicopter fleet. You will work as part of a highly skilled team, ensuring work meets approved data, regulatory requirements, and Alpine Aerotech's quality standards.

Qualifications include graduation from a Transport Canada–accredited Aviation Structures program, an AME-S licence or pursuit of certification, and experience in structural repairs or sheet

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a Transport Canada-accredited Aviation Structures program.
  • AME-S Licence or pursuing certification.
  • Experience in structural repairs, sheet metal fabrication, or related aviation structures work.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures, fabrication techniques, and corrosion control.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and approved data.
  • Valid Driver's Licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
  • Professionalism, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, lay out, and perform structural repairs using SRMs, ADs, TBs, and approved data.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and fit structural components to precise specifications.
  • Perform sheet metal repairs and structural modifications across helicopter platforms.
  • Apply corrosion control and preservation processes to support reliability.
  • Inspect work for regulatory compliance and Alpine Aerotech quality standards.
  • Maintain records related to repairs, fabrication, and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow all safety, PPE, and company procedures.
  • Collaborate with technicians, inspectors, engineers, and leadership to meet production goals.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and stay current with repair methods.
