Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP is seeking a Structures Technician to perform a range of aircraft structural tasks, both in-shop and on-aircraft, under the Structures Shop Supervisor. The candidate will work on the Winnipeg area base with a focus on compliance and quality.

Ideal applicants will have extensive experience with aircraft structures, be able to read engineering drawings, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Travel and shift requirements may apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of grade 12 or equivalent.
• 5 years of structural experience on pressurized aircraft preferred.
• Transport Canada S-License or completed approved training; full accreditation a strong asset.
• Ability to qualify for RAIC Pass.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings is required.
• First Nations Awareness training considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Comply with current approved data: Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, approved drawings and current manuals for repairs and approvals.
• Identify and report abnormal or unusual occurrences on aircraft defects.
• Responsible to collect all data, parts and tooling required for the task at hand.
• The ability to think outside the box, while maintaining compliance.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
