Job summary

IMP Aerospace and Defence is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to perform multi-level repairs on aircraft structures and GSE. The role includes structural inspections, corrosion control, and modification work, with travel to multiple bases and deployments as needed.

The candidate should have an Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or be qualified as an aircraft structures technician, with a minimum of 3 years in aviation maintenance and the ability to obtain necessary security

Qualifications

Must have knowledge of aircraft structures and inspection techniques.
Experience reading maintenance manuals, drawings, blueprints and procedures.
Minimum 3 years in aviation maintenance.
Able to drive vehicles and tow tractors.
CGP clearance eligibility and Secret Level II security clearance.

Responsibilities

Perform first, second, and third-level repairs on aircraft structures and ground support equipment.
Conduct structural inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
Assist with ramp duties including pre/post flight support and equipment installation/removal.
Travel to other bases and remote deployments as required.
Provide on-job training and attend training sessions.
