Job summary

IMP Aerospace & Defence is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician (AME - S or Military Equivalent) to perform multi-level maintenance on CH-149 helicopter systems. You will support line and scheduled maintenance, document with ERKS, and deploy to bases as needed.

The role requires 3+ years helicopter maintenance, structural knowledge, and CGP/Secret clearance eligibility. A recognized maintenance program graduate with an AME license is preferred, and the team provides comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of aircraft structures, inspection techniques and materials.
  • Ability to operate test equipment for maintenance.
  • Knowledge of ERKS procedures.
  • Knowledge of Quality Systems.
  • Knowledge of corrosion control techniques.
  • Able to read and interpret maintenance manuals, drawings and SOPs.
  • Ability to perform non-destructive inspection where qualified.
  • Proficient with standard computer programs and specialized tools as needed.
  • Valid driver's license to operate company vehicles and tow tractors.
  • Graduate of a recognized maintenance course with license or equivalent experience.
  • Eligible for CGP and Secret Level II clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform first to third level maintenance on mechanical, structural, avionics and electrical systems.
  • Complete maintenance documentation in ERKS and ensure release readiness.
  • Conduct pre/post flight inspections and ramp duties as required.
  • Deploy to other bases or remote sites for maintenance support.
  • Provide on-job-training and participate in training for qualifications.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas and adhere to company policies.
