Job summary

Aviation Starlink is seeking an Aircraft Structures/Maintenance Technician for a hybrid role in Dorval, Canada. You will perform routine maintenance tasks, inspect structures, and assist with certifying work and regulatory documentation as needed.

The position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, bilingual French/English communication, and eligibility for RAIC. A valid Class 5 driver's license is also expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and operations.
• S License (an asset).
• Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status.
• Eligible to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card).
• Valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, repairs, overhauls, and modifications on aircraft, components, equipment, and structures.
• Conduct structural inspections to identify damage, cracks, corrosion, deformation, and other anomalies.
• Perform repairs, modifications, assembly, adjustments, drilling, and riveting of structural components in accordance with approved technical data.
• Assist with the rectification of deficiencies identified during inspections or reported by flight crews.
• Perform maintenance activities in accordance with the Maintenance Policy Manual (MPM), company procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• When required, certify completed maintenance work and complete the required regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with various maintenance teams and provide support based on operational needs.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the maintenance team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, your role will be to perform the routine maintenance tasks scheduled by your coordinator.

Depending on your qualifications, you may be responsible for certifying aircraft maintenance work and rectifying deficiencies identified during routine inspections or reported by flight crews following a flight.
