Job summary

De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited in Calgary, AB, is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME-S) with structural repair expertise to join our MRO team. You will inspect, repair, modify and fabricate structural components and support SRMs, drawings, and CARs in a safety‑driven environment.

The role requires 1–5+ years of AME experience, the ability to work independently or with a team, and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada AME 'S' license or pursuing AME-S with structural experience.
  • 1–5+ years of aircraft structural maintenance experience.
  • Experience on Dash 8, Q400, Twin Otter, CL-215 or CL-415 is asset.
  • Experience using SRMs, drawings, and approved repair data.
  • Previous AMO experience is asset.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and SRMs.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural maintenance including inspection, repair, modification and fabrication.
  • Assess damage and determine repair requirements using SRMs and drawings.
  • Conduct sheet metal fabrication, drilling, riveting and fitting.
  • Maintain documentation and traceability for repaired components.
  • Certify tasks within AME-S scope and AMO privileges.
  • Support aircraft modifications and engineering changes.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment.
