Job summary

Flexjet in Peterborough, Ontario, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with Structures (AME S) to repair, install and inspect aircraft structural components. You will work from mechanical drawings and specifications, measuring and finishing skins, frames and other structural parts with precision.

Required are a college-level Structural Repair program, a recognized apprenticeship, and Transport Canada AME S license.

Qualifications

• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Completion of College/CEGEP/vocational/technical training in Structural Repair.
• Completed a recognized apprenticeship program, and/or have a minimum of +4 years industry related experience.
• Transport Canada A.M.E. "S" license.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret mechanical/engineering drawings and technical instructions.
• Assemble and install aircraft skins, frames and structural parts with precision.
• Work safely and maintain quality in a high-demand environment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals and quality standards.
