Job summary

A leading aerospace and defense contractor in Greenwood, NS is seeking an Aircraft Structure Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft structural components. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, overseeing junior staff, and ensuring a safe workspace. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of aviation maintenance experience and a relevant certification. Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in aviation maintenance.
• Eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Secret Level II Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform First, Second and Third Level repairs on aircraft.
• Provide supervision and on-job training to employees.
• Sweep and clean the work area as necessary.

Skills

Knowledge of aircraft structures

Inspection techniques

Damage assessment

Corrosion control techniques

Technical documentation interpretation

Ability to use standard computer programs

Driving vehicles and towing tractors

Education

Graduate of a recognized aircraft structural repair course

Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license
