Qualifications

  • 5+ years Canadian or 10+ years international experience in aircraft structures.
  • Proficiency in aircraft production assembly and blueprint reading.
  • Experience with sheet metal and structural assembly.

  • Read blueprints and complete work orders.
  • Perform additional tasks requested by supervisors.

Job description

This position involves working on the production floor in a dedicated cell, focusing on various parts of the aircraft based on experience level. The primary responsibility includes assembling sheet metal wings through riveting, drilling holes, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling the pieces. The role requires reading blueprints and filling out work orders upon task completion. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble sheet metal wings using riveting, drilling, countersinking, sealing, deburring, bonding, and dimpling techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly.
  • Complete work orders and document tasks performed.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by supervisors.
  • 5+ years of Canadian experience or 10+ years of international experience in aircraft structures.
  • Proficiency in aircraft production assembly, particularly wings.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work order documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • AME - S license
  • Experience with sheet metal and structural assembly

The dress code is casual, and the work setting is structured around safety and efficiency.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, Alberta.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $52.00 / hr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Toronto,ON.
