Boeing Canada Operations Ltd. at CFB Trenton, ON, is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic (C-17) to support MA​ST under the US C-17 sustainment contract. Reports to the onsite Maintenance Manager and works under Lead Technician guidance.

Responsibilities include assembling, disassembling, repairing and upgrading aircraft systems; performing inspections, troubleshooting and component replacements; and documenting actions to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required.
• Must hold a Transport Canada AME M2 rating or military equivalent.
• Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.
• Must be legally able to work in Canada and eligible for Canadian government programs.
• Proficient in interpreting Technical Orders (TOs) and using required tools/equipment.

Global Technical Operations, Field Operations is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Mechanic (C-17), working out of the **CFB Trenton, ON** to support Canada Operational & Intermediate (O&I) Level Maintenance Augmentation Support Team (MAST) under the United States Government C-17 G3 Sustainment Contract. The **Aircraft Mechanic (C-17)** will work directly under the guidance of the Lead Technician and report directly to the onsite Maintenance Manager. **Position Responsibilities:** * Assembles, disassembles, repairs, modifies, and/or upgrades aircraft systems and components to correct failures or implement changes.* Supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, including inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of aircraft components.* Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to isolate faults and repair defective components.* Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure proper operation.* Documents maintenance actions, procedures, test results, and inspection findings to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.* Inspects components and verifies repairs for airworthiness and flight readiness requirements.* Supports system configuration, assembly, disassembly, and overhaul activities as required.* Works under general direction and may assist in training less experienced personnel. **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** * 4+ years of aircraft maintenance experience required.* Knowledge of operations and aircraft maintenance practices.* Must have knowledge and use of special tools/equipment required to perform assigned maintenance tasks and the ability to interpret Technical Orders (TOs).* Must have one of the following: Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) licensed M2 rating or Military equivalent.* Must be legally able to work in Canada.* Must be willing and eligible to work on Canadian government and defense-related programs with no restrictions.* Must consent to Canadian Government Controlled Goods Program (CGP) assessment.* Individuals must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.* Must be eligible for Secret Level II security clearance.* Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data. **Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):** * 3+ years of experience with Canadian Aviation Regulations and Aircraft Airworthiness Directives.* Canadian CC177 Globemaster III Type Course via Air Educational and Training Command (AETC)* Department of Defense/Canadian Armed Forces Airworthiness Program* Active Secret Level II security clearance.* Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems. **Conflict of Interest:** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. **Additional Information:** This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada.
