Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

Join our team as an Aircraft Mechanic, where you will be responsible for performing full inspections, system inspections, fixing defects, troubleshooting, and component overhauls on business jets. With seven aircraft arriving between June and October, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct full inspections and system inspections on aircraft.
• Identify and fix defects in aircraft systems.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose issues.
• Overhaul components as necessary.
• Work on various business jets including Falcon 900, Gulfstream G650, Challenger 604 & 605, Global Express, and Citation 560.

Essential Skills

• Experience in aircraft maintenance, inspection, and repair.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and heavy maintenance.
• Business aviation experience required.
• M2 license mandatory.
• Experience in line maintenance and heavy maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience on multiple aircraft preferred.
• Endorsements on Falcon 900, Gulfstream G650, Challenger 604 & 605, Global Express, and Citation 560 are nice to have.
• Experience with business jets is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a hangar environment with open doors, which can be cooler due to the time of year. Join a small team of 15 permanent staff, supplemented by 4 contractors for this project. No specific dress code is required. The position operates on a day shift from 6:30 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Mississauga, Ontario.
