Job summary

Wright International Aircraft Maintenance Services Inc, a 30+ year MRO provider based in Canada, seeks an AME Station Lead to drive line maintenance at YHZ. You will report to the Director of Maintenance and QA Manager, coordinating line tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance for diverse clients.

The role requires leadership experience, TC licenses and endorsements, and the ability to manage resources and communicate across teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid Transport Canada AME M2 license and endorsements (B777 mandatory; A350/A320 preferred).
  • RAIC, DA, and AVOP for YHZ or able to obtain.
  • FAA A&P license strongly preferred.
  • Previous AME Lead/Supervisor experience required.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations to ensure aircraft serviceability and compliance.
  • Plan, manage and supervise execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Allocate and manage resources to handle workload.
  • Document delays, incidents, and maintenance communications.
  • Consult with MOC, System Operations Control, and Operations Managers on issues.
  • Engage with Flight Operations to discuss serviceability and readiness.
  • Maintain clear communication with ramp maintenance personnel.
  • Plan and oversee base inventory and tooling with stores.
  • Oversee execution of maintenance activities and other duties as assigned.

Ready for your next big challenge? If you're an AME with leadership experience, we want you to join our team! We’re on the lookout for a Station Lead to help drive our maintenance operations atYHZ. Reporting directly to the Director of Maintenance (PRM) and the QA Manager, you’ll play a key role in our growing team, supporting our diverse clients with their line maintenance needs. YOUR TASKS:
  • Oversee, and coordinate maintenance operations to ensure aircraft are serviceable, meeting operational requirements and adhering to Transport Canada and client airworthiness standards.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise the execution of aircraft maintenance tasks.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively to handle the assigned workload.
  • Document delays, incidents, accidents, and other maintenance-related communications.
  • Consult with client Maintenance Operations Control (MOC), System Operations Control, and Operations Managers, regarding incoming maintenance issues and aircraft faults.
  • Engage with Flight Operations at departure gates to discuss aircraft serviceability, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance to uphold operational readiness.
  • Maintain clear communication with all ramp maintenance personnel.
  • Manage base inventory and liaison with main headquarters stores department for material requests and tooling.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee the execution of aircraft maintenance activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance (PRM)
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
  • Must have a valid Transport Canada AME M2 license and Transport Canada approved endorsements:B777 endorsement mandatory, A350 and A320 is strongly preferred
  • Must have a valid RAIC, DA, and AVOP for YHZ or must be able to successfully obtain these clearances
  • FAA A&P license strongly preferred
  • Previous AME Lead/Supervisor experience required.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Must be able to reliably commute to work location and/or be willing to re-locate
