Job summary

WestJet in Calgary is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to contribute to the safe and efficient daily maintenance of our Boeing 737NG, 787, and Q400 fleets. As part of our team, you will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections while upholding WestJet's safety standards and core values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Requires valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license (M2 preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience and/or endorsed on Boeing 737 and/or 787 and/or Q400 or equivalent.
  • Strong airframe, powerplant, and flight control experience.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on WestJet aircraft to ensure airworthiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with aircraft systems and components.
  • Adhere to safety policies and standards, ensuring high levels of reliability and safety.

  • ACA Premiums starting at 7%, increasing 1% every 3 years to a maximum of 12%

  • Fuel Tank Entry Premium of $7.00/hour

Are you ready for your next adventure? Ensure you meet the following requirements
  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License required (M2 preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience and/or endorsed on Boeing 737and/or 787 and/or Q400, or equivalent type of aircraftis preferred
