Custom Helicopters Ltd. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for on-site work in Winnipeg, MB. This LMIA-required role offers a salary range of CAD 120,000 to CAD 170,000 per year and entails a full-time permanent position with multiple shift options.

The ideal candidate holds an AME (M) licence and 3–5 years of mechanical aircraft maintenance experience. Strong communication, organizational skills, and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair of aircraft.
  • AME 'M' licence - Aircraft.

Responsibilities

  • Adjust and repair systems according to specifications, drawings, manuals and procedures.
  • Repair and overhaul to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft structural systems.
  • Install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records and reports.
  • Dismantle airframes, engines or other systems for repair and reassembly.
  • Perform and document routine maintenance.
  • Ensure safety standards and departmental policies are met.
