Job summary

WestJet in Calgary is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to uphold safe, efficient daily maintenance of our fleet. You will work in a team-oriented, safety-first environment and communicate clearly with colleagues to keep aircraft ready for operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance or an endorsement on Boeing 737/787 or Qan 400, along with the ability to lift 50 pounds and pass medical safety requirements. Full-time employment with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience or Boeing 737/787 or Qan 400 endorsement.
• Broad experience including electrical, navigation, and flight controls.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb/kneel/crawl frequently.
• Medically fit to wear safety equipment.

• Candidates must attain the ability to lift to 50 pounds, as well as, climb, kneel, and crawl frequently in tight spaces.
• Candidates must be medically fit to wear all safety equipment including respirator apparatus.
