Job summary

AAA Canada in Mirabel is seeking an Aircraft Coordinator for the weekend shift to support the aerospace assembly line. This full-time position requires coordinating planning, communication, and issue resolution to keep aircraft on schedule.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration across Operations and Support teams, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards, with a focus on improving processes and timely supplier coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Project Management, or DEC in Aerospace with experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally on the A220 program.
  • Understanding of dependencies between workstations across the line.
  • Detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to challenge existing processes for improvement.
  • Fluent in French (mandatory) and English considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preparation, follow-up and communication of plan to close technical points for each aircraft.
  • Prioritize and coordinate access for stakeholders to ensure plan adherence.
  • Monitor and assist in resolving blockers (NCRs, BOIs, issues) with Operations teams.
  • Escalate blocking issues to appropriate stakeholders at the right time.
  • Identify bottlenecks and lead improvement projects to resolve them.
  • Participate in E2EQG routines, preparing and leading FOT meetings and analyses.
  • Coordinate supplier recovery plans when they impact multiple areas of the Assembly Line.
  • Coordinate VL/DL plans when they impact multiple areas of the Assembly Line.
  • Provide first-level support to on-site suppliers.

Aircraft Coordinator (week end) Temporary

Location: Mirabel

Type: Full-time Position

Schedule: Friday to Sunday (12 hours per day, paid as 40 hours)

Job Description

In this role, you will:

Your Profile:
  • You have i) a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or Project Management, or ii) a College Diploma (DEC) in Aerospace with equivalent professional experience;
  • You have more than 10 years of experience in manufacturing processes, ideally on the A220 program;
  • You have a general understanding of the dependencies between the various workstations;
  • You have detailed knowledge of planning, logistics, quality, and production processes;
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, are able to challenge existing processes, and are committed to helping your colleagues and other functions grow;
  • You are fluent in French (mandatory) and are comfortable communicating in English (an asset).
