Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a maintenance worker for a community Health Centre in Kuujjuaq, Quebec. The position is part-time and reserved for Inuit/JBNQA beneficiaries residing in the community.

Duties include indoor/outdoor maintenance, grounds upkeep, repair of electrical appliances, and assisting specialists as needed. Qualifications include bilingualism (Inuktitut with English or French), carpentry and building maintenance experience, reliability, organization, and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability in Inuktitut with another official language (English or French).
• Experience in building maintenance and carpentry (painting, repairing surfaces, furniture).
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy and diligence.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas of Health Centre installations and lodging units.
• Maintenance of grounds.
• Repair electrical appliances.
• Assist specialized workers when needed.
• Carpentry knowledge is an asset.
• Keep work areas clean after tasks.
• Requisition materials needed for tasks.

• Person doing various maintenance and repairjobs inside and outside the all the installations of Health Centre were including lodging units and transits;
• Performs maintenance of the grounds;
• Repairselectrical appliances;
• Assistsspecialized workers in the execution of their tasks when needed;
• Knowledgeof carpentry is an asset
• Upkeepswork areas after execution of their tasks;
• Requisitionsmaterials necessary to the execution of his tasks.

• Bilinguism (Inuktitut /English or Inuktitut / French, written and spoken)
