Job summary

IntuitionLabs is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer for Life Sciences to join our remote Canada team. You will design and ship integrations between AI tools and client data, building MCP servers and connectors that securely access systems like Box, Benchling, NetSuite, and SharePoint, while configuring identity, access, and encryption controls.

You will work with the founder and security lead, collaborating with client IT teams and MSPs.

Qualifications

• Five or more years building and running production software or IT systems.
• Experience designing and shipping integrations: APIs, identity (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SCIM).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• LLM API usage and AI tooling experience (Claude/Code/Codex).
• Ability to explain designs to client IT teams and executives.
• Life sciences or regulated industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build MCP servers and connectors to give AI tools controlled access to client systems.
• Set up identity and access for AI rollouts: SSO, SCIM provisioning and offboarding.
• Implement data handling controls: sensitivity labels, encryption, read-only access, retention and logs.
• Build client-facing tools: document pipelines, retrieval over document sets, agents and automations.
• Explain designs to client IT, security and QA; write necessary documentation.
• Review junior developer code and uphold engineering standards.

Our clients are biotech and pharmaceuticalcompanies across North America. We run company-wide AI programs month by month: training,platform setup, and working tools built with each department.This is a remote position based in Canada, with flexible hours.You build the systems that connect our clients' AI tools to their data, safely. You designand ship integrations between Claude, ChatGPT and the platforms our clients run on, and youwork directly with their IT teams and managed service providers.
