Job summary

OLIVER, a Brandtech Group partner, seeks a Copy Editor to collaborate with the editing team, Senior Copywriter, and Legal to review and approve all studio content before it goes live. You’ll ensure accuracy, brand voice, and regulatory compliance across formats, with an emphasis on SEO and AI-driven discovery.

You will apply editorial standards, review AI-produced copy for risk and compliance, and contribute to a knowledge base of terminology and regulatory guidance for higher education programs

Qualifications

• Experience in copy editing or editorial review in a regulated industry such as higher education, healthcare, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of US higher education marketing regulations, FTC guidelines, state authorizations, and accreditation claims.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and brand suitability.
• Excellent written American English: grammar, style, and clarity across multiple brand voices.
• Ability to work in high-volume, deadline-driven environments with multiple review queues.
• Collaborative approach with creative, legal, and technical teams; familiarity with CMS and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and edit all studio copy across email, paid social, digital, web, and video scripts for institutions, ensuring accuracy and brand voice before delivery.
• Partner with Legal to ensure content complies with regulations and disclosures and flags risks requiring substantiation.
• Collaborate with Editorial team to apply institutional standards, style guides, and terminology across outputs.
• Work with technical teams to optimize content for SEO and AI search visibility with structured content and GEO practices.
• Leverage model intelligence insights to improve editorial decisions and brand visibility in AI-generated answers.
• Review AI-generated content for regulatory compliance and accuracy before approval.
• Develop and maintain compliance checklists and editorial frameworks for each institution, including disclosures and accreditation language.
