Job summary

Purolator Digital Lab (PDL) in Mississauga is seeking a Delivery Engineer to own the upstream delivery lifecycle from discovery to sprint-ready handoff. You will ensure the right thing is built, scoped properly, and delivered on time, bridging business analysis and project management with AI-assisted tooling.

You’ll influence system and solution design, own the delivery plan and backlog, and collaborate with software teams to ship value while maintaining rigorous stakeholder communications.

• Technical fluency to participate in system design discussions.
• Use of AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and planning.
• Translate business intent into actionable dev tasks.
• Thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Leading discovery with business stakeholders to define problems, scope, and success criteria.
• Translating requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Participating in system and solution design discussions, surfacing trade-offs and documenting decisions.
• Developing and maintaining delivery plans, milestones, and dependency maps.
• Owning backlog management and prioritization with the dev team lead.
• Facilitating sprint ceremonies as the business and planning voice.
• Producing artefacts (BRDs, flows, UAT plans) with AI-assisted drafting.
• Tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Validating delivered work against acceptance criteria before sign-off.
