This role is for a platform engineering specialist tasked with building a firmwide AI Development Platform and promoting AI capabilities enterprise-wide. We seek energetic, multidisciplinary candidates eager to develop scalable, secure solutions for the firm.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with software platforms such as Kubernetes, Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), API development, REST frameworks, data engineering, and large-scale API Gateway environments. Knowledge of AIML and Generative AI solutions is preferable. Strong communication, team collaboration, and a passion for AI-driven productivity and innovation are essential.

What you'll do in the role:

1. Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying AI solutions using Kubernetes/OpenShift, Python, APIs, REST, etc.
2. Create Terraform modules and cloud architecture for secure AI service deployment at scale.
3. Build common, reusable solutions to scale Generative AI use cases with pre-trained and fine-tuned models.
4. Utilize Kubernetes/OpenShift for containerized workloads.
5. Integrate large-scale vector stores for embeddings.
6. Document best practices for the Generative AI ecosystem, including models like GPT, Llama, Hugging Face, and libraries such as Langchain.
7. Investigate and implement GenAI solutions focusing on Agentic Orchestration and Agent Builder frameworks.
8. Record architecture decisions and product choices for Generative AI solutions, including authentication, service communication, container strategies, and immutability.
9. Ensure AI platform reliability, scalability, and operational excellence with strategies like Blue/Green deployments, logging, monitoring, and automation.
10. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team on-call rotations.

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years in software engineering, design, and development.
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Python with Flask or FastAPI.
• Understanding of data engineering, governance, privacy, and security.
• Experience managing Kubernetes workloads, ideally on OpenShift.
• Experience with RESTful services for enterprise solutions.
• Deployment experience on Azure, AWS, GCP with IaC (Terraform).
• Skills in multiprocessing, multithreading, async I/O, and performance profiling in Python.
• Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts.
• Experience working collaboratively across global teams and time zones.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD (Jenkins), and GitOps.

Nice to have:

• Experience with unit testing, performance testing, BDD/acceptance testing.
• Understanding OAuth 2.0 for secure authorization.
• Familiarity with Open Telemetry tools (Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Cortex).
• Knowledge of microservice architectures, cloud deployment patterns, and state sharing mechanisms.
• Experience with AI applications, especially Generative AI, LLMs, embeddings, and ModelOps.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic Orchestration and frameworks like Lang Chain.
• Understanding of SRE principles.
