Trench Canada invites aspiring AL & ML developers for a hands-on internship in Scarborough/Pickering, Ontario. Join Project NOVA to build intelligent, scalable applications under senior leadership and gain exposure to AI/ML, data pipelines, and BI visualizations.

You will work cross-functionally, implement ML models, maintain full-stack apps, and deliver insights with Power BI/Tableau. This 4–8 month internship emphasizes growth, practical experience, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as CS, AI/ML, DS, physics or math.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms and techniques.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Familiarity with front-end (React/Angular) and back-end (Node.js, Django).
• Knowledge of Azure services and vector databases (Pinecone).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• GitHub profile submission required with resume.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Design, build, and deploy ML models.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications.
• Implement robust data pipelines and ETL workflows including feature engineering and model versioning.
• Integrate front-end interfaces with cloud services for performance and security.
• Create stakeholder-ready visualizations (Power BI/Tableau) and present findings and roadmaps.
• Ensure performance, scalability and security of deployed solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical features with domain experts.
