Job summary

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary invites applications for a CPSC 383 Sessional Instructor for the Winter 2027 Term. The course explores AI and machine learning concepts using practical APIs and ethical considerations.

All course components will be delivered in person, with lectures scheduled Mon, Wed, Fri 12:00–12:50 p.m. Applicants should hold an MSc in Computer Science or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum MSc in Computer Science or closely related discipline; PhD preferred.
• Experience with the Desire2Learn (D2L) course management system and knowledge of assessments best practices; engaging students will be assets.
• Graduate students or postdocs in our program will be considered first, followed by applicants with a postgraduate degree.
