Job summary

Jobtailor in Canada seeks an experienced delivery-focused project manager to own client projects end to end: scope, schedule, budget, risks and communications. You will use AI tools to run backlog prioritization, re-forecast schedules, monitor project health and generate status reports.

Collaborate closely with architects, consultants and client stakeholders, build reusable AI workflows and automate where possible, and help shape what AI-first project management looks like in a fast-paced

Hands-on use of AI tools in real work (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to manage projects.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to own timelines and details.
Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to build new processes.
Formal PM certifications welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery of client projects end to end — scope, schedule, budget, risks, and communication.
Use AI to run backlog prioritization, create and adjust schedules, monitor health, and generate status reports.
Keep clients informed with proactive updates and surface issues early.
Build reusable AI workflows and automations to improve the delivery team's efficiency.
Evaluate new AI tools and surface effective solutions for real delivery problems.
Collaborate with architects, consultants, account managers, and client stakeholders.
Document learnings to improve the practice and shape AI-first project management at Elantis.

Use AI to run the mechanics of project management: prioritizing backlogs, building and re-forecasting schedules, monitoring project health, and generating status reporting.
Keep clients informed with clear, proactive updates, and surface issues before they become problems.
Build reusable AI workflows, prompts, and automations that improve how the whole delivery team works — not just your own projects.
Continuously evaluate new AI tools and capabilities, test them against real delivery problems, and bring forward what works.
Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, account managers, and client stakeholders.
Document and share what you learn so the practice gets better with every project.
Help shape what AI-first project management looks like at Elantis.

Requirements

Demonstrated hands‑on use of AI tools in real work — Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, automation platforms, or similar.
Strong organizational skills, follow‑through, and comfort owning timelines, commitments, and details.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to work directly with clients.
A continuous improvement mindset and genuine drive to find a better way — we don’t want to be stuck doing things the way they have always been done.
Formal project management experience and certifications (PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) are welcome but not required.
Exposure to Microsoft 365, Teams, Planner, Project, Power Platform, or Copilot is considered an asset.
Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to build things that don’t exist yet in a small, fast‑moving consulting environment.

Demonstrates expertise in AI-driven project management, utilizing tools like Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance project delivery. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for managing client relationships and ensuring project success in a dynamic consulting environment.
