Job summary

Payworks, a leading payroll and HCM platform, is seeking a Product Manager to own AI-first initiatives end-to-end—from discovery to adoption—in a regulated Canadian SMB space. You’ll work with design partners, build prototypes in Claude Code, and guide releases with telemetry to prove impact.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in B2B SaaS product management, with impactful shipped work.
• Fluency with AI-assisted prototyping tools and prototypes you can demo.
• Strong discovery and delivery instincts, prioritizing by risk.
• Ability to instrument outcomes and distinguish leading indicators.
• Clear, declarative English writing and cross-team collaboration.
• Comfort with change and ownership of deliverables and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own an AI-first initiative end-to-end from discovery to adoption.
• Build prototypes and briefs; collaborate with designers as co-creators.
• Design AI that users can trust, with confidence signals and history.
• Keep the pipeline ahead by breaking work into well-specified pieces.
• Prove impact with measurable outcomes and trace roadmaps to value.
• Drive adoption with sales, marketing, support, implementation and finance.
