Job summary

Payworks seeks an experienced Product Manager to own AI-first initiatives in its payroll/HCM platform. You will lead discovery, prototyping, and measured adoption, working with AI PDLC and designers to ship with telemetry.

You will keep the pipeline ahead with close collaboration across Business Analysts and developers to ensure business outcomes. The role emphasizes ownership of adoption, collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Support, Implementation and Finance, and a willingness to adapt to

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of B2B SaaS product management with customer impact.
• Fluency with at least one AI-assisted prototyping tool (Claude Code, Replit, Lovable, Cursor).
• Strong discovery and delivery instincts, prioritizing by risk and working from prototypes.
• Comfort with measurement: instrument what you ship and distinguish indicators.
• Clear, declarative English writing and collaborative cross-team style.
• Willingness to adapt to evolving operating model and new tools.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-first initiatives end-to-end from discovery to adoption.
• Build prototypes with Claude Code and collaborate with designers as co-creators.
• Design AI that users trust with confidence signals, review steps and history.
• Keep pipeline ahead by breaking work into small, well-specified pieces with BI stakeholder input.
• Prove impact with telemetry and link roadmap items to outcomes.
• Own adoption and work with Sales/Marketing/Support/Implementation/Finance on launch materials.
