Remarcable, Inc. in Vancouver seeks an AI Engineer to turn data from orders, invoices and catalogs into production-grade AI features.

You will design, build and ship LLM-powered capabilities across our platform and internal tools, from invoice matching to a data lakehouse-backed assistant, reporting to the VP of Engineering. This hands-on role blends building and evaluating AI systems with collaboration across Product, Data and SRE teams.

Competenze

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with at least 1–2 years shipping LLM features to production.
• Strong Python skills and production API development experience.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, embeddings and vector databases.
• Experience building evaluations to measure model quality.
• Solid SQL and data skills with messy real-world data.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), CI/CD and observability.
• Clear communication and ability to explain AI trade-offs to non-technical teammates.

Mansioni

• Design, build and ship LLM-powered features across the platform (invoice/PO matching, document extraction, catalog normalization, smart purchasing).
• Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic workflows using real procurement, inventory and accounting data.
• Own features end-to-end from prototyping to production rollout and monitoring.
• Partner with Data Engineering to use the data lakehouse as foundation for AI features and internal assistant.
• Create evaluation sets and automated tests to measure accuracy before and after changes.
