Job summary

Remarcable is hiring an AI Engineer to turn daily data (POs, invoices, inventory) into AI features that save contractors time. You will design, build and ship LLM-powered capabilities, from invoice matching to an AI assistant, integrated with our data lakehouse.

You will report to the VP of Engineering and collaborate with Product, Data, and Full Stack Engineering teams. This hands-on role defines the patterns and guardrails for future AI features as Remarcable grows.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with 1–2 years shipping ML/LLM features.
• Strong Python and production API experience.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG and vector databases.
• Experience evaluating model quality and handling real-world data.
• Cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS), CI/CD and observability.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship LLM-powered features across Remarcable's platform.
• Design retrieval pipelines and agent workflows for procurement data.
• Own end-to-end features from prototype to production and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Data and Engineering teams to align on goals.
• Institute guardrails for data privacy, security and reliability.
