Job summary

Bell is seeking an AI Engineer (CP2) to design, build, and deploy AI-driven workflows at scale in a hybrid setup. You will link agents to internal services, develop robust APIs, and collaborate with data scientists and enterprise architects to move solutions from concept to production.

You will work within the Applied AI & Data Science team to deliver autonomous, agentic systems for improved operations and customer experiences across Bell.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering or data science experience, including 1–2 years building with LLMs.
• Strong software engineering foundation: Python, clean code, robust API design.
• Hands-on experience with tool calling, agent orchestration, and RAG over enterprise data.
• Experience deploying on a major cloud platform (e.g. Google Cloud) and working with databases.
• Active learning on foundation models and developer tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build & Ship Agentic Applications: develop, test, and deploy multi-step agentic workflows and tool-calling systems.
• Enterprise System Integration: connect AI agents to internal services and databases via robust APIs.
• Data & Knowledge Grounding: build scalable data pipelines with vector search and RAG for accuracy.
• Squad Collaboration: work with data scientists, product managers, and architects to productionize solutions.
• Reliability & Quality: implement tests and observability for production model performance.
