Job summary

Bell’s Applied AI & Data Science team seeks an AI Engineer (CP2) to design, build, and deploy AI-driven workflows and autonomous systems across Bell.

You will work in a hybrid Toronto office, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and enterprise architects to connect AI agents to internal services, implement robust APIs, and deploy production pipelines with RAG and MCP patterns.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS, engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years in software engineering or data science with 1–2 years building with LLMs.
• Strong Python, API design, and enterprise system integration.
• Hands-on with tool/function calling, agent orchestration, and RAG patterns.
• Experience deploying apps on a major cloud platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy stateful, multi-step agentic workflows.
• Connect AI agents to internal services and enterprise platforms via robust APIs.
• Develop data retrieval pipelines with vector search and retrieval augmentation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and architects.
• Implement tests and observability for production models.
