Job summary

KPI Mining Solutions recherche un ingénieur IA expérimenté à Montréal pour concevoir et déployer des solutions IA, en mettant l'accent sur les LLM et les pipelines ML dans un cadre de conseil dynamique.

Vous travaillerez avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires, déployerez des modèles sur Azure et appliquerez des pratiques DevOps/MLOps, tout en assurant la qualité du code et la documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ années d'expérience en développement logiciel ou IA.
• Maîtrise de Python et des frameworks ML (PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace).
• Expérience avec LLMs, pipelines NLP et prompt engineering.
• Connaissance approfondie des pipelines DevOps/MLOps (CI/CD, contrôle de version, containerisation).
• Expérience avec l'infrastructure Azure et les services IA.
• Capacité à gérer et livrer des projets de façon autonome.
• Bilingue FR/EN (oral et écrit).
• Diplôme de Bachelor/Master en informatique/ingénierie ou domaine lié.

Responsibilities

• Concevoir, développer et déployer des modèles et services IA, axés sur LLM et IA générative.
• Évaluer la qualité et l'éthique des sorties des LLM pour divers cas d'usage.
• Développer des workflows IA évolutifs avec Python, bibliothèques ML et Azure ML.
• Collaborer avec des équipes pluridisciplinaires pour intégrer les modèles IA.
• Appliquer les pratiques DevOps/MLOps pour l'intégration continue et déploiement.
• Diriger des discussions techniques avec les clients et parties prenantes en FR et EN.
• Maintenir des standards élevés de qualité de code et de documentation.
• Rester informé des dernières tendances IA, ML et services cloud.
• Architecturer et déployer des applications évolutives en autonomie en respectant les exigences système.
• Maîtrise SQL avec écriture de requêtes complexes et optimisation des performances des bases relationnelles.

About The Role

We are seeking an AI Engineer with deep technical expertise and a passion for cutting‑edge innovation in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As part of our AI & Advanced Analytics team, you will design, build, evaluate, and optimize AI solutions with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), DevOps pipelines, and Azure cloud services. You are a proactive and autonomous professional who thrives in a fast‑paced consulting environment and is capable of delivering end‑to‑end AI‑driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models and services, with a focus on LLMs and generative AI technologies
• Evaluate the quality, performance, and ethical alignment of LLM outputs across business use cases
• Develop and implement scalable AI workflows using Python, ML libraries, and Azure Machine Learning
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI models into client applications and platforms
• Apply DevOps/MLOps practices for continuous integration, automated testing, and model deployment
• Lead technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders in both French and English
• Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and documentation
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and cloud services
• Proficient in end‑to‑end software development with the ability to autonomously architect, code, test, and deploy scalable applications, ensuring alignment with system requirements and DevOps best practices.
• Strong proficiency in SQL is required, with the ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and manage relational data across large‑scale systems.

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software development or AI engineering roles
• Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace)
• Proven experience working with LLMs, NLP pipelines, and prompt engineering techniques
• Deep understanding of DevOps or MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, version control, containerization, etc.)
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure) and AI‑related services
• Strong ability to independently manage and deliver projects from concept to production
• Demonstrated capacity to critically assess model outputs, including bias, hallucination, and relevance
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English (oral and written) is required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI consulting or client‑facing environments
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and model governance
• Familiarity with REST APIs, front‑end integration, and data visualization tools
• Azure certification (e.g., Azure AI Engineer Associate or Azure Data Scientist)
