Job summary

Prophet is expanding its Montreal team to accelerate AI-driven development of its ERP platform for fresh produce and floral supply chains. You will own architecture and engineering decisions for new apps, balancing speed with robust design.

In this role you’ll leverage C# as the primary stack while staying ready to adopt the best language or framework for a given app. AI-assisted tooling will be a daily driver to shrink delivery timelines and capture revenue from in-house builds.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production software engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of C#, and ability to learn new languages or frameworks as the problem demands.
• AI-assisted development tools as a daily practice to accelerate delivery.
• Track record of building something end-to-end, independently, faster than the standard estimate.
• Comfortable working with minimal oversight, reporting to a single technical counterpart.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship AI-assisted applications that extend Prophet's ERP platform.
• Build tools for growers, packhouses and distributors, including traceability and depot scheduling.
• Work primarily in C#, with flexibility to use other languages/frameworks as needed.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools as a core part of daily workflow.
• Progressively take features from idea to shipped product with a senior engineering counterpart.
