Poka is hiring a Web Strategist to own how our website is found and converted. You will lead both traditional SEO and AI-driven Answer Engine Optimization, shaping content, architecture, and structured data to win visibility and citations in AI answers.

In this strategic yet hands-on role, you’ll run experiments with content, design, development, and demand gen to lift organic traffic, engagement, and conversions across our global sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SEO, web strategy or growth marketing with measurable results.
• Deep knowledge of on-page, off-page, AEO and technical SEO.
• Experience turning data into action with CRO programs.
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and explain data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and own an integrated SEO and AEO roadmap for visibility and traffic.
• Run keyword, topic, and intent research for AI-assisted queries.
• Structure content for AI citations with QA formatting and schema.
• Implement and maintain Schema.org markup for rich results.
• Monitor AI platforms and track mentions across tools.
• Strengthen E-E-A-T via author profiles and credible sources.
• Conduct regular technical audits; guide fixes with the dev team.
• Own CRO program: run tests, analyze results, iterate.
• Define KPIs and deliver dashboards and leadership-ready insights.
