Job summary

Synechron in Toronto is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic Mythos / Application Security initiative, coordinating delivery across Cybersecurity, AppSec, Engineering and Technology teams. You will govern timelines, risks, and stakeholder updates for AI-driven vulnerability discovery and remediation programs.

The role requires 8+ years in PM, strong Agile and hybrid delivery, and excellent communication with senior tech and security leaders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project/Program Management experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets.
• Experience managing technology, cybersecurity, AppSec, DevSecOps, or engineering transformation initiatives.
• Strong ability to work with senior technology and security stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional technical programs with dependencies.
• Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum and hybrid delivery models.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with delivery tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Project or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project planning and delivery across Mythos workstreams.
• Coordinate with AppSec, Offensive Security, Engineering, Development, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Security teams.
• Establish and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dependencies, and status reporting.
• Drive governance cadence and provide updates to senior stakeholders.
• Track delivery across PoCs, platform enhancements, integrations, testing, and production readiness.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and identify risks, blockers, and delivery issues.
• Coordinate demos, stakeholder reviews, technical sessions, and feedback incorporation.
• Translate technical requirements and security priorities into actionable plans.
• Support vulnerability detection, remediation automation, sandbox validation, testing and deployment workflows.
• Maintain alignment between RBC stakeholders and Synechron teams.
