Job summary

Kumaran Systems is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to help build reliable software QA systems in North America. You will design, implement and maintain automated tests across UI and API layers, leveraging Selenium, Playwright and GenAI-assisted tooling.

In this role you will collaborate with developers, QA engineers and product teams in an Agile environment, continuously improving automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and test analysis to accelerate delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA Automation experience.
• Strong Selenium + Java automation experience.
• Hands-on Playwright experience.
• Good knowledge of API testing, SQL, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Jenkins / Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to GenAI/AI tools for software development and QA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.
• Design and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools and coding assistants to accelerate test creation, script generation, debugging, and test analysis.
• Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches, including test-case generation, defect analysis, and automation optimization.
• Participate in framework design, code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business teams in Agile environments.
