Job summary

Kumaran Systems in Toronto is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to elevate our automation strategy. You will design and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium and Java, and drive end-to-end test automation across APIs and UI layers.

You will collaborate with developers, QA, and business teams in Agile environments, leveraging GenAI tools and contemporary CI/CD practices to accelerate test creation and analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of QA automation experience.
• Strong Selenium and Java automation expertise.
• Proficiency in API testing and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to GenAI/AI tools for software development and QA.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust UI automation frameworks using Selenium with Java.
• Design and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end automated tests.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to accelerate test creation, script generation, debugging, and test analysis.
• Explore AI-driven testing approaches including test-case generation and defect analysis.
• Participate in framework design, code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business teams in Agile environments.

Job Description

Required Skills
