We're seeking an AI Development Platform Engineering Specialist in Architecture & Modernization to help build a firmwide AI Development Platform and promote AI adoption across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do In The Role

1. Develop tooling and self-service capabilities for deploying AI solutions. Collaborate with developers to improve the AI application deployment experience.
2. Build common, reusable solutions to scale Generative AI use cases using pre-trained and fine-tuned models.
3. Use Kubernetes/OpenShift to develop modern containerized workloads.
4. Manage container registries like JFrog Artifactory, use Helm & Kustomize, and implement GitOps deployment methods.
5. Integrate with large-scale vector stores for embeddings.
6. Author best practices for Generative AI tools, models (GPT, Llama, Hugging Face), and libraries like Langchain.
7. Implement GenAI solutions focusing on Agentic Orchestration and Agent Builder frameworks.
8. Contribute to design decisions and product selection for AI solutions, including app authentication, service communication, and container layering.
9. Ensure the AI platform is reliable, scalable, and operational, with strategies for upgrades, logging, monitoring, and automation.
10. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

1. 5+ years in software engineering, design, and development.
2. Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
3. Hands-on experience with Python Flask or FastAPI.
4. Understanding of data engineering (SQL, NoSQL, Big Data, Kafka, Redis), data governance, privacy, and security.
5. Experience managing Kubernetes workloads, preferably on OpenShift.
6. Developing and managing RESTful services for large-scale solutions.
7. Experience with multiprocessing, multithreading, asynchronous I/O, and performance profiling in Python.
8. Practitioner of unit testing, performance testing, and BDD/acceptance testing.
9. Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 for secure authorization.
10. Proficiency with Open Telemetry tools like Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, Cortex.
11. Experience in DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins), and GitOps.
12. Effective communication of technical concepts.
13. Ability to influence teams and promote AI adoption.
14. Experience working collaboratively in a global organization across time zones.
15. Understanding of information security and secure coding practices.
16. Experience building cloud-native and containerized applications.
17. Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
18. Excellent communication skills.

All positions are based in Montreal, Quebec, with a hybrid work environment. Knowledge of French and English is required.
