Job summary

Intact is seeking AI Developer interns to join its growing Digital, Data and Tech team in a hybrid role based in Montreal. You will build and test AI products, turn data into insights, and collaborate in an agile squad using Confluence/Jira.

You must be a current student in AI/CS-related fields, available full-time for Winter 2027, and fluent in both English and French to interact with colleagues nationwide.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in AI, software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Available to work full-time, 35 hours/week, Winter 2027 Term, hybrid mode (Jan–Apr).
• Must be an active student during internship and return to school in Summer/Fall 2027 term.
• Bilingual in Quebec due to inter-team collaboration.
• Eligible to work in Canada, no Canadian work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Build and test AI products with clean code and unit tests.
• Analyze datasets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate in an agile squad using Confluence/Jira for collaboration.
• Document deployments, share estimates, and assist with production handoffs.
• Stay updated on new AI approaches and bring ideas to the team.
• Prepare technical documentation to deploy and support completed systems.
• Provide estimates and status reports as needed.
