Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform owned by Scale AI, seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You’ll roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, score outputs, and explain discrepancies in writing from home with flexible hours.

Responsibilities include comparing images and videos, identifying errors, and rating adherence, quality, and realism. This is a remote, freelance role with weekly payouts and diverse project tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based English conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images/videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like distortions, flickering, or audio-video mismatches.
• Provide written explanations of judgments in English, pointing to observed issues.
