About the opportunity:

• Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in English to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
• This reading and writing-intensive freelance opportunity is remote with flexible hours, allowing you to work whenever it suits you.
• Your tasks will include reading English texts to rank AI responses, writing and rewriting prompts and responses (which may involve research and fact-checking), and assessing the factuality and relevance of AI-produced text.

Examples of desirable expertise:

• Experience as a professional writer or editor.
• Currently enrolled in or completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at an accredited institution.
• Strong writing style, exceptional English spelling and grammar, along with good logic and reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain the strengths and weaknesses of texts.

Payment:

• Pay rates vary by country and expertise, for example:
• US: $15 to $35 USD per hour
• UK: up to £11 to £27 GBP per hour
• Canada: up to $20 to $48 CAD per hour
• Australia: up to $22 to $53 AUD per hour
• New Zealand: up to $25 to $58 NZD per hour
