The opportunity

We are seeking a Manager, Data Analytics, Solution Architect. Our IT Advisory Analytics practice collaborates with clients to enhance their data usage, interpretation, and information management capabilities to support better decision-making and regulatory compliance. Our clients need vision and precision to see the big picture and the smallest details.

Information and intelligence are key assets, and our Analytics practice provides innovative approaches to unlocking this information, solving major challenges. We are integrating this capability into all Advisory services to help clients leverage data as a strategic asset.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Manager, Data Analytics, Solution Architect, you will lead projects, build relationships within EY and with clients, and develop your skills through training and mentorship. We value diverse, high-performing teams and welcome individuals from industry, consulting, delivery, or vendor backgrounds. If this is your first consulting role, we will support your transition.

With at least 7 years of experience, you will lead the design and execution of data architectures and solutions aligned with business needs and organizational goals across industries. You will define data strategies, develop scalable architectures, and implement solutions to address complex challenges, working closely with clients, project teams, and technical experts.

Skills and attributes for success

• Lead data architecture projects from discovery to implementation, ensuring alignment with client objectives
• Understand client requirements and develop cloud-based data strategies and roadmaps
• Design and implement scalable data platforms, including warehouses, lakes, and pipelines
• Document data architecture designs, models, and integration patterns, ensuring security and compliance
• Create data models such as dimensional, Data Vault 2.0, and graph models
• Mentor project teams, providing technical guidance and support
• Optimize and troubleshoot data environments
• Collaborate with vendors and stay updated on new features and best practices
• Manage client relationships and expectations, ensuring quality and satisfaction
• Commit to continuous learning of emerging data management trends

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• At least 7 years in data architecture, engineering, and database design, preferably in consulting
• 3+ years designing Snowflake architecture and features
• Experience with Data Vault 2.0 and dimensional modeling
• Proficiency in SQL
• Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Leadership and communication skills
• Certifications: SnowPro, Data Vault 2.0 (assets)
• Proven project delivery track record
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset

Preferred qualifications

• Enterprise data modeling across industries
• Experience with data warehousing tools like WhereScape, Coalesce, VaultSpeed
• Expertise in Snowflake platforms and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies
• Motivated, with a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude
